How to summary: Add the Dictomate widget to the home screen for instant recording functionality.

Dictomate provides a recording and bookmark widget to allow you to create recordings directly from your devices home screen. To do this you first need to add the widget to the home screen. This can be achieved by doing the following:

Long press (touch and hold your finger down) on any open spot on one of your Home screen pages. This will bring up a list of options.

Touch Widgets from the list of choices. This will display all widgets available to add to your home screen. Search through the list of widgets, locate the Dictomate widget

Long press the Dictomate widget and drop it on the home screen in the desired location

You are now ready to start instant recordings straight from your home screen

To start recording directly from the home screen press the Start button (Figure 4). Recordings created using the widget appear in the Recordings section of the main application.
